The Guinness Storehouse Connoisseur Experience offers a deeper way to connect with Ireland’s most famous stout.
Set in St. James’s Gate in Dublin, this hosted tasting session introduces you to different Guinness varieties through aroma, technique and guided storytelling.
You will join a small group in a relaxing private space led by a Guinness beer specialist. Each sample is poured and discussed in a way that highlights its character, which lets you understand how subtle changes create distinct flavours. The stories shared bring context to each brew, giving the experience more meaning than a simple tasting.
The session concludes with a practical highlight: learning how to pour your own pint. It is a simple skill that often feels like a milestone for Guinness fans.
Your booking also includes admission to the self-guided Guinness Storehouse tour. You can explore the seven floors, visit the tasting rooms and spend time at the Gravity Bar if you like.

Visitors must be aged 18 years or over whilst visiting Guinness Storehouse.
There is a storage facility to hold luggage while you enjoy the tour. Please note, that coats or jackets cannot be stored.

The Guinness Storehouse Tour is not dependent on weather conditions.
Session Length
We recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to explore the Guinness Storehouse with the self-guided experience. However, as the tour is self-guided, you can take it at your own pace and spend as much time as you wish.

The experience must be pre-booked and is strictly subject to availability.

Monday to Thursday: 9.30am-5pm
Please note that last entry 5pm, while the building remains open until 7pm.
Friday and Saturday: 9.30am-6pm
