The Experience
You will head down to the tea room to check in before being shown over to your reserved table. The room itself features themed decorations to set the scene, so you can settle in while the staff get your food ready.
Once you are comfortable, the kitchen will serve up a selection of savoury items. This includes sandwiches made with seasonal ingredients and a variety of pastries, all themed around the characters and settings from the stories. Because everything is prepared beforehand, you can eat at your own pace while you chat.
Next up is the sweet selection, which includes items like themed cupcakes and chocolate treats. You will also get a large pot of tea or a herbal infusion of your choice to go alongside the food. It is a relaxed way to spend a few hours, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the food and the surroundings without any rush.
