Rise above the world on a weekday hot air balloon ride.
With over 100 launch sites in England, Scotland and Wales, finding a take-off point near you is easy.
Your adventure begins on the ground, where you can help with the balloon’s setup before stepping into the basket. As the burners fire up, you’ll gently lift off, floating effortlessly above rolling hills, rivers and countryside. The peaceful silence, interrupted only by the occasional whoosh of the flame, makes this an unforgettable experience.
This weekday-only voucher allows you to fly Monday to Friday, with sunrise and sunset flights available.
Each flight lasts approximately one hour in the air, with the full experience taking 3–4 hours. Once back on solid ground, celebrate with a Prosecco toast, marking the perfect end to an incredible journey.
Vital Information
Weight supplements apply for passengers over 20 stone or those over 18 stone who are under 6ft tall.
Anyone aged 7 or older and at least 4ft 6in tall can fly. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
Pregnant individuals or those who have recently had major surgery cannot fly, but vouchers can be extended free of charge until they are able to participate.
The Weather
The Hot Air Balloon Ride is very weather dependent. You will be asked to phone the location prior to the flight to check the weather. If it is unsuitable, you can simply rebook for another day at your convenience.
Session Length
The experience lasts 3–4 hours in total, with around an hour in the air.
Numbers
Your voucher is valid for one person. Groups of up to 12–16 people can fly together, subject to availability and location.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch the balloon launch although, If alternative launch site is used, they are expected to make their own way there and back.
What To Wear
You should wear clothing suitable for a country walk appropriate to the time of year, preferably of natural fibres. A hat or cap may be useful to protect your head from the heat of the burners. Ladies please wear trousers. Sensible walking shoes or boots are recommended, preferably ones that are waterproof. Space is restricted in the basket, so please avoid bringing large rucksacks and bags.
Availability
Flights operate March to October, subject to weather conditions. Book early to secure your preferred weekday date.
Morning flights: Start between 5:00 AM and 8:30 AM, depending on sunrise times.
Evening flights: Start between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on sunset times.
